We’re making some exciting changes!
Avamere at Seaside’s assisted living area is transitioning into independent living. Along with this transition come wonderful updates to the building.
Exciting renovations
Renovations to Avamere at Seaside’s assisted living section of the building begin summer 2019.
These renovations include moving the dining room downstairs next to the kitchen, adding a bistro (including a soda fountain), adding a gym and theater room, and obtaining new furniture and artwork.
Avamere at Seaside will provide 41 independent living apartments for seniors looking to retire at the coast.
“This is an exciting change for us at Avamere at Seaside,” said Executive Director Sarah McBride. “These renovations allow us to provide more amenities for our residents, perfectly aligning with our mission to enhance the life of every person we serve.”
Avamere at Seaside’s independent living residents will enjoy the same amenities their current residents do, including three meals a day, weekly housekeeping, and all utilities. Residents can participate in a wide range of activities both at home and out and about. Staff select activities to encourage residents to be active mentally and physically.
Meeting seniors in their life journey
Avamere at Seaside’s upcoming independent living offering aligns with Avamere’s continuum of care priority, where we aim to provide care to seniors wherever they are in their life journey.
Adding independent living at Avamere at Seaside fills in this continuum of care in the Seaside area. Avamere offers assisted living at Suzanne Elise, another Avamere community just two miles north of Avamere at Seaside and home to their previous assisted living residents.
Avamere at Seaside staff are proud to serve seniors at the Oregon coast and look forward to welcoming independent living residents.
Their memory care and respite care services are open during the remodel. Visit Avamere at Seaside today to experience retirement at the coast!
